If you use a non-Apple Podcasts podcast app, they sometimes come with internet radio capability built in. For example the Android app "Podcast Addict" lets you look up radio stations by name, url, or region. Here's J-Idols Project:

^ To be fair, Apple has that capability as well. It's just in Apple Music instead of Apple Podcasts. (Well, technically, Apple Music gets the stations from TuneIn and iHeartRadio.) Works fine for most use cases, except that there's no good way to bookmark stations. You have to either a) note the station names and then search for them each time, or b) copy the links and then use the "Open Stream URL" command.

Ahh, that's really good to know. The way their Radio section is set up I thought you could only browse Apple's own curated "stations." Didn't realize you could just put the name of any ol' Internet Radio station in the generic "search" field and have it come up, but sure enough it worked. Thanks!

The trick is making sure you have the correct tab selected when you go to search. It can be frustrating, given how they've separated Your Library, Apple Music, and iTunes Store.

I don't know if any of you caught that (thanks boinsie) but some spammer apparently hijacked one of our already existing accounts (that is, a member in good standing who hasn't posted in a few years). I can't recall that happening before. Usually we just get people signing up who have figured out our annoying signup protocol, and they are never seen by the forum in general because they don't get past the vetting phase. So it's a little troublesome that someone breached the walls, so to speak. At this point I don't know if they used a hack to read our entire password list (in which case we'll start to see a crapton of this) or if hopefully they just obtained that specific name/password combo from off some other list out in the wild. But anyway, if you think your password might be guessable you might want to update it just to be on the safe side. (And if you use the same username/password combo elsewhere, you might consider changing it there too.)
FWIW as site admin I don't have any way that I'm aware of to read anyone's password; unless I'm mistaken the password list is hashed and not in plaintext format. Thus when people forget their password, I can only reset or change it, not read it back to them.

I don't know whether this is because I switched over to the https version of the site or because of some other glitch, but I'm having to log in far more frequently now than I used to. I used to get logged out only rarely, maybe after several weeks or months, but now I'm having to log in practically every day.

Same here. I've got guesses about why, but nothing concrete.

I'm never logged out on my laptop. I'm always logged out on my phone.

Right now the site is fast! (It's been very slow for me lately.)
