I used to watch it regularly on KTSF Channel 26 in the San Francisco Bay Area. They used to have lots of great Japanese stuff (such as HEY! HEY! HEY!, IQ Sapuri, Homemaker [Nakazawa's dorama], Kochira Hon-Ikegami Sho [with Kago], as well as Kouhaku and the NHK Taiga Dramas), but nowadays KTSF pretty much sucks, as far as J-TV is concerned. :(

^ It was wonderful while it lasted, but we hardly have any now, either. KTSF used to have a three or four-hour block of Japanese variety shows and doramas (some subbed, some not) both Saturday and Sunday evenings. Now all they have is 9-11 pm on Saturday evening, which consists only of that dorama about the family with the quintuplets, followed by an hour of a Japanese movie (annoying split up over three weeks or so), and then a half-hour religious program. Nothing worthwhile.

KCNS has NHK World, though, so I can at least watch J-Melo on my TV rather than my computer.

***

Just finished watching Gomennasai and enjoyed it immensely. Be sure to watch the extra stuff after the movie, too, because the footage of the girls onstage, pimpin' the movie goods, is hilarious! XD

Well thanks to TPF for the sub cause I actually liked it.

Finally saw it. It was a genuinely suspenseful story, the direction was IMO excellent, and the acting was pretty good, as far as those kinds of movies go. I would have no problem recommending it to someone who likes lo-budget thrillers but is indifferent to "idols" in general. And seriously,

if I were Kurohane, I'd want to curse the world too with an effed up sister and parents like that.

Eripon read a letter to Gaki, and Gaki-san just made a sweet phone call to Eripon a few minutes ago on Ohasta.
