Morning Musume '16 to be main guest at Anime Matsuri in Texas!

This is the type of experience that makes fans for life, that Zukki is trying to make, that H!P in general is seeking for: to make people happy, and something like this is direct testament of that! ...Are you gonna post some of those awk photos to the members only thread? ^^" hehe

I'm glad that those who made the trip had a good time. As always when I pass on something like this, I do of course have a certain amount of regret, but yeah, I knew that going in. I don't regret missing the chaos and confusion at the con, but it would've been worth it for such an incredible amount of personal interaction with the girls — especially Aika, who seems to have been everywhere!

The personal interaction with the girls I'm not sure will ever be replicated. Even if they go back to AM, more people will show up hoping to have the same experience (Though I don't think they'll go back). It was really on another level and so, so surreal. I didn't see them much outside the con, though SO MANY people did. From Q's experience, to the people at the Hilton bar singing "Sweet Home Alabama" at Miki, to being in an Elevator with them and having a convo, to having pretty much as much time as you wanted at the autographs because they were guaranteed if you got in (Hell I got so much time with Harunan I actually ran out of things to say), to Aika just SHOWING UP at Hello!Disco, to people miming at Maria and playing baseball for like 20 minutes. There are so many stories and so many interactions that it was definitely once in a lifetime.

This ends my best memory of my life.

And how amazing is it that you're also a memory in THEIR lives? I mean, every wota hopes to say something during the handshake that will stand out and be memorable, but I'm sure the handshakes just blur together for them. But unexpectedly running into fans in a foreign country and exchanging photos will be something that will stick out in their mind. I doubt they would even be allowed to do that in Japan. "Remember that time we went to see the rockets in Texas and we spotted those American H!P fans in a crowd...that was so random..and then we took a chance and approached them and they were cute and friendly...!"

I really enjoyed watching the youtube concert that was posted. Nobody does Morning Musume better than Morning Musume!

[EN] Morning Musume。’16 in Houston by Aika (part1)

Hi, there;)
I came back to Japan!!

It was nice to see you in Houston;) Lots of overseas fans were there and amazingly welcomed Morning Musume。’16;) Thank you!!
When we arrived at Houston, these huge gorgeous cars were there!! These were specially prepared for us.

The members got excited! Haruka Kudo pretended like she was our host and had pretty girls on each arm;)haha

And nice weather welcomed us too!! I went to a park with Erina Ikuta, Kanon Suzuki, Sakura Oda, Miki Nonaka and Maria Makino.

After looking around, all the members were going to watch the rodeo but we couldn’t!!>< The rodeo was closed….

Ohh, pity!
However, the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que, which is a competition of BBQ, was held! I saw it on a TV show in Japan so I was quite excited. hehe It was full of nice smells!
Erina, Haruna and Maria were attracted to a dummy cow!;)

The gentleman taught her if she bend backward, the cow move well.

Miki, Sakura and Maria were talking with native speakers! The ladies talked about the rodeo and the BBQ event. Maria tried hard to communicate!! It was cute;) They introduced themselves to the ladies “We perform!” “Dancing and singing!”, the ladies were hard to understand! She was like, “What? Where are you performing? On TV?” She was so surprised haha

We explained about Anime Matsuri and they said, “ I wish I could go! By the way, nice to meet you. Enjoy while you are here;)” They were very kind.
After that we went to the amusement park which was nearby the BBQ contest. They had such a great time, rode the roller coaster, did upside down bungee jump and several rides! They played a lot!! You may see it on DVD;)

The end of the day we had beautiful dinner and went to bed;)
