Just finished watching "Reborn" and cried my eyes out. I had no idea it was gonna be so damn emotional wth. Gaki's acting is flawless. In Suugaku she did so-so, but as there was no depth to her character at all, one couldn't really expect much more from her. That was the production's bad, not hers.
Her portrayal of Jeanne D'Arc was just... amazing. Reina blew me away too, but Risa outshone pretty much everyone there. I shouldn't be surprised, considering how long she's been in showbiz and done musicals and all but I really was just... stunned. So. Amazingly.. just wow.
I was a bit "eeh" about her focusing on acting (always supportive but...) but having seen this I just... she should focus on acting. And I really hope she continues doing musicals. Stage plays is great too but musicals, please. She's just... really that great. T-T

When I was first getting into MM/H!P, I would watch whatever whole concerts I could scrounge up on YouTube.
After watching the "Bon Kyu! Bon Kyu! BOMB GIRL" performance from the 2008 Winter Hello Pro Award concert, I remember loving the way it looked like Risa was having an absolute blast (of course at this time it was more me telling them apart by easily seen features, so it was probably more like "that one with chubby cheeks" or something) and she's been one of my absolute favorite Musume's/H!P members ever since.~
