[Idol Tenshoku Ondo]

Hmmm...I've watched it once and it kinda sounds like a Morning Musume song somehow. I gotta listen to it more to make a more complete judgement, see how it grows on me and such.

On the other hand, Skip Skip Skip based on the radio rip is 100% ,10/10 my jam ooh baby I love it gimme more. Sounds like a song from the 2nd Step era which was one of my all time faves. *Chef's kiss*

The covers for SSS and KtBnK are adorable. Normal B reminds me of one of the covers for Hatsukoi Sunrise with the jumping and the font style.

The song is pleasant and pretty conventional but they really outdid themselves in that seemingly low-budget PV -- they just look fantastic in every shot.

Marine was really highlighted both visually and in terms of lyric selection. Her English sounds so natural! Yagi was even more breathtaking than usual, just that shot of her walking @ 1:46 looks like a clip from some beauty product commercial. Kishimon's fierceness is not to be denied. One of the YouTube comments compared Yofuu to a puppy coming out with a bright smile, even her tails kind of give the impression of floppy dog ears. Ono's smile could melt icebergs. Rikoriko's makeup was super on point. Kasai with the sharp facial expressions, etc., etc.

Really liking this iteration of Tsubaki Factory, and the CD covers are all quite pretty as well.

Didn't expect to pop on and find a video, but I guess the timing is right for it. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but the covers are nice. I'm especially enjoying the "Skip" costumes and how bright everything is, it's just the vibe I need right now.

This session was pretty wholesome, because Yagi and Fukuda are two great examples of the normal-girl-turned-idol trope. They're not too cutesy, they don't over-emote or go all buriburi, they're not obviously gifted in the usual idol ways. They're just… normal.

Anyhow, the next two sessions are happening soon — maybe even by the time some people actually see this post — so I'll just link them now…
