Fun fun fact: Mariya Takeuchi is married to Tatsuro Yamashita, who was the leader of the band Sugar Babe, whose song Down Town was covered by Juice=Juice in their previous single. Tatsuro arranged the original Plastic Love and produces most of Mariya’s music.

I guess that explains why I keep mixing Down Town and Plastic Love in my head this morning.

I made the mistake of listening to Down Town AFTER Plastic Love and now I can't seem to untangle the two songs in my head.

^^ Wow, I applaud that person for such a quick turnaround on the English lyric upload, (and you for finding it), I just wish they hadn't used that machine-seeming translation. For some reason, even though that song is super-popular, a naturalistic AND accurate English translation is really hard to find. This is the best I could locate (adapted from another language):

Juice=Juice tends to be this genre of music which I'm not exactly a fan of... But clearly others love it so that's good to hear! And the cover sounds very true to the original which is cool~

everyone looks so good in the MV, but it feels a little short, even for a Promotion Edit. I am looking forward to seeing the Dance Shot version with those amazing silhouette scenes
