I've always WANTED to like C-ute but Berryz's singles are so better. This is just ok. The B-side is much more my taste. Also, lol cheap set.

^ I like this single but if I were to compare then yes, Berryz's (and MM's) upcoming single blow C-ute's out of the water. C-ute's single definitely doesn't have as strong of an a-side, imo.

The other way around for me. I like BK and all but I can't really get into them, and C-ute always get the better singles so...

Music aside, there's something else, maybe intangible, about C-ute that just draws me to them more-so than to Berryz. I don't know what it is. Normally I like goofiness, which is what it seems like Berryz should be full of, but... somehow C-ute just wins out. I don't know.
I'm definitely a Cu-ute fan before I'm a Berryz fan. When I heard BK were going to SakuraCon, there was much fretting over whether it was worth it to attend. If it had been C-ute, I would have booked that night.

^ It's the exact opposite to me. But I think it's because of the personalities, I love everyone in Berryz and I love how asymmetrical and random it is as a group. With °C-ute I love Airi and Saki, and that's it. And definitely not as much as Miyabi, my comparatively least favorite Berryz girl. 2008 made it clear, though, Berryz is the most fun/weird idol group on Earth and I appreciate it.

And I don't even know how to explain it, because since Erika's departure I'm not even like SUPER HOMG into any of the C-ute girls except for Airi, but overall they somehow captivate me more than the Berryz girls. Yes, Berryz are quirky and unbalanced and fun and I appreciate them for that... but somehow C-ute just draw me in every time. The other night they had their UStreamed concert, and I ended up staying up to watch it. And they were awesome, and even their slower boring songs had me all "wooooooO~~~!". And they somehow made me love, love, LOVE their upcoming single. But if it had been Berryz? I wouldn't have hardly batted an eye at the news and would have gone to bed as per normal. If Berryz were releasing Momoiro Sparkling I'd just be like, "Next."
And it's not even that I don't like the girls in Berryz! I honestly have more favorites in BK than in C-ute! But still C-ute wins out. Maybe it's their voices and dancing skills, I don't know. Maybe Airi's just that powerful.
