Another episode of Kimi ni Tsutaetai Monogatari Season 3 with Ayumi Ishida.


So, part of this is about some baby saying "hey you, F#@% You" to her, or something?

I wish these kinds of shows were subbed. Funny/interesting stories, and short.

Rough translation:

One day after practice, Ishida was heading towards the train station with Oda, Kaga and Kitagawa. They were making small talk like "I feel so tired", "I wanna have an ice cream" on the way.

Ishida noticed a Caucasian baby (roughly 3 years old by her estimate) on a baby trolley heading towards them, being pushed by the foreigner father. She was thinking "Oh, what a cute baby!" to herself when suddenly, right as the baby had passed them, the baby turned to Ishida and said "HEY YOU, F**K YOU!" (Ishida's recreation suggests the baby said it in a pretty loud voice).

Ishida couldn't believe what she had just heard the baby say, and was slightly panicking while thinking to herself "Wait wait wait! But I didn't do anything!".

Ishida says it's the first time something like this has happened to her in her 25 year life. She kept thinking afterwards what she could have done to make the baby say that to her, but came up blank. She finally says, "Saikou deshita", meaning she thinks it was amazing in a fun way.

Quick Edit: I am up for rough translating other episodes of this Monogatari series, since they are usually quite short. So if you guys have any requests, fire away.

Translation from 0:26 onwards:

A few days ago, Angerme went to Yomiuri Land for a DVD magazine shoot. That day, everyone had a hamburger for lunch. But instead of a small hamburger with a tiny patty, it was a proper huge hamburger. Since there were 10 members, they split up into groups of 3. Takeuchi, Kawana, and Tamenaga were in the same group and therefore seated on the same table. These 3 started a competition by themselves about who could take the single biggest bite out of the hamburger.

Wakana was on the table beside them and was watching them as they did a countdown and then took a bite. Wakana was blown away by the size of Tamenaga's mouth. The hamburger was big enough that it had to be properly held up with both hands, and Tamenaga still managed to eat half the hamburger in a single bite.

The video of that moment was caught in the DVD magazine and even featured in the Youtube CM of the DVD magazine. You can clearly see Tamenaga's mouth gaping and eyes wide in that video. Since it's even featured in the Youtube CM, that moment is completely out in the public, and anyone can see it.


During the entire DVD Magazine shoot, all the members were taking tons of pictures to be added to the DVD Magazine later. One of the members incidentally also captured the precise moment of Tamenaga's monster bite as a photo. Since it was really pinpoint precise moment, the photo was really impactful. But some member (Wakana can't recall exactly which member, also might be a different member from the one who took the photo) thought that since that moment was already captured on video and out in public, it wouldn't be a big deal to put the photo in their blog. So the member tried it, and was immediately told "Sorry, but you can't use that photo" by their manager. Apparently Tamenaga's face in the photo was too powerful to put on a blog post, even though it's out on video. The members had fun with the whole situation.

Wakana mentions there is a problem that their manager frequently tells them "NG" (Not Good, simply means No) for things that should be fine. For instance, even when a member takes permission from someone accidentally in the frame of a photo to use that photo in their blog, the manager often blurs out that person/member. Wakana finds out about such cases when she later scrolls through the blog after it has been posted.
