"Aesthetically pleasing" is more than just beauty, I think.

Sayu is gorgeous, sure, but she has a more striking beauty and her beauty is prone to breaking in certain circumstances. Off the top of my head, her face sometimes swells up (she says so herself) and she tends to snort-huff when she laughs. See also Maimi and her toothy, squinty grin.

Mizuki, on the other hand, isn't quite as strikingly beautiful as Sayu or Maimi, but her beauty is more consistent and soothing. Just looking at her makes you go "Ahhhhhhh," as if you can't imagine it being any other way. That's the golden ratio.

I just realise Tsunku actually mentioned 12th gen in those comments. I guess next year we will be getting a 12th gen audition it seems.

Do they usually mention hiring a particular director for a PV before? or is this a special occasion?

I only remember this happening a couple of times (I could easily be forgetting others here), and each time it was for Mano Erina.

The first time was for her "Genkimono de Ikou!" video (film+TV director Tsutsumi Yukihiko), and the second was "Song for the Date" (film director Iizuka Ken).

^He didn't say he has any plans on auditions or anything now. Just saying that ONCE they join Kudou will probably consider them her rivals. Or whatever it was.


Though I do expect 12th gen audition announcement next year.

I really like the Genkimono de Ikou! MV Momusu should get that director in the future.
