So she's Erina 2.0, directly taking over the color of her admired senior.

True enough. My mind most associates taking over a color with Erina because her stalking Niigaki was such a big part of her character for a while.

in all honesty I found it easier to associate Akane with Orange as Haruka left. It’s difficult to brighten the Orange when it sometimes looks like tan and then looks too much like Orange when I lower it.
I was gonna do this for the time being until the new members arrive (that is, if one of them had an Orange image colour)
But I guess it’s permanent now

She must be super happy and honoured to finally have Michishige’s colour. Irc she did say that Michishige is her favourite Idol.
