Morning Musume. '14 12th gen - Golden audition

Do you all think Tsunku will be as involved with this set of auditions with his cancer treatment? I mean, he's in good spirits but he's scaling back his involvement clearly.

I was just thinking an interesting concept would be to have the girls involved in the audition process, or at least Sayu and the subleaders. Would be neat to see who their picks/choices would be. I wouldn't put all the decision-making responsibility on them, but if they got down to the final training camp I would love to see Sayu & co sitting in on the final performance and giving their comments on the potentials.

It likely won't happen but it would be an interesting twist.

They certainly have something in mind so he'd be able to continue with his treatment and the auditions on another side. Doubt it all will be left to casualities.

He said himself he won't stop being a producer during his treatment so, I'm sure he'll do it.
Though I would love it if Sayu was involved too.

From the previous auditions most of what he does until the final round is looking a the audition tapes and application forms. It could actually end up being the audition he pays most attention to whilst he's laid up a home with nothing much else to do.

It depends on when the 12th gen joins. When they join this summer well before the end of the autumn concert tour they will get their new colors before pink can be inherited. If this happens I could see another shuffle happening after her graduation. If there many girls joining there will be even more overlapping colors. I could see on of the current members switching, there are already 3 shades of green after all.

They aren't officially joining until 2015. Odds are they won't get their official colors until their first tour. Sakura didn't get hers until right before Michishige Eleven Soul.

I'm more worried about the 9-10-11kies being ready to train 12th gen. Are they skilled enough to be able to train their Kouhai? Are Fukuchan and Haruna ready to be leaders? I hope by Sayu's graduation they prepare for this huge challenge.

I also hope the dynamic stays the same. It's very cohesive right now.
