On the other hand, I've just noticed that on the 22nd someone asked on their Facebook page:
"You Kikkawa is listed as a guest on the fan/flyer that was being passed out at AX, but I don't see anything about her on the website or FB. Is it true? I can't wait to see her if she's going to be there!"

And they replied, "We'll have some information on this for you soon!"

So I still hold out hope. orz

I overheard people talking about this today at the J-Pop Summit. I don't think I can make it Japan Expo regardless but hmmm, I wonder what's up (or what happened)...

So I guess J-Triumf from Jphip actually asked the person manning Japan Expo's booth at JPop Summit what was up with Kikka.

"Once that first part of the day was done, we checked out the booth for the upcoming Japan Expo; we were concerned about the lack of official announcement for You Kikkawa, so we asked the guy there about what exactly was going on with her. Unfortunately the answer we got was somewhat vague, and the promotional material from the booth conflicted with each other. Supposedly next week we'll find out the truth?"

and in another thread, more specifically:

"The Japan Expo website still hasn't officially announced Kikka yet, despite the convention being now less than a month away. We inquired about her at JE's booth at J-Pop Summit, where the fans they were giving away mysteriously excluded her name this time. The booth guy couldn't give us a definitive answer other than to "stay hopeful". On the other hand, the posters lining the booth still featured Kikka as the last of their main guests."
