It's pretty rare for a Japanese male to actively do those things unless they are forced to like they are a student living alone. I think most of them have their mothers do it and then when they work a while they just get married and move out and have a wife to do everything their mother did. Japan is very much a male dominated culture afterall. I imagine for Nono it's a huge event lol

i know, and i don't like it but i know that's how it is (even more so in some other cultures). but i'm talking in general, because i see this happen daily here in the US too, even though we've supposedly moved on.

I was just reading her first blog post about it earlier, how she by herself and had a really good time despite feeling a little lonely, and that when she went to see Conderella she had just left and Kanon ended up waiting patiently for a couple of hours for her to get back so she could take pics. ^^;;;;

hehe it suits her but. i really loved her extremely long hair, it was so mesmerizing. I didnt like her Maji Desu Ka haircut but ><
made her look too skinny and her ponytails during Only You made her hair look dead.

I think the times her looked best was with Oha(curled was amazing style they did for her), and the Ultra Smart USB Footage.

Im excited to see how this one works out for her.

OMG i saw the photo and was thinking it was an old picture of Captain until i read the description.

i miss her longer hair too (though i din't need it to be as long as during the auditions.. just miss her pigtails). i wonder if she cut it symbolically for Gaki's grad?

I doubt that. She had her hair cut short for replacing Saki on Oha Star (I guess they wanted her to look similar to Saki) and maybe management decided they prefer her having short hair so have kept it short ever since. I actually prefer her like that it's funny i never really noticed her when she first joined then she cuts her hair off and starts twirling a baton and i'm like "Wow she's so cute!"
