I assume so. She also does the business report and sometimes the early morning (i.e., pre-OhaSuta) news.

Moe×Kon (along with Announcer Laboratory) was always just a bit of late-night filler where a couple of newbies could develop their skills and accumulate screen time. It has served its purpose, and now they can continue with their real work.
