I miss the first 3 minutes or so because I went to the grocery store.

Spoiler: show
ugh yeah the ending was creepy. Like, why is the guy still alive to see/experience all that?!

I'll always enjoy the aesthetics of the cooking/serving scenes though. :fear:

The episode felt rather short, but I usually don't watch TV on TV so I'm not used to commercial breaks. xD

Hannibal:
Spoiler: show
Definitely a more attention-catching start compared to the first season. Seriously though, what the hell at that scene with the ear.

It wasn't just you, esm. I watch TV without commercials all the time and it still felt like it was cut short to me. Makes me wish it was on Showtime or HBO, just so the episodes could be extended.

It felt short to me, as well. I usually feel like it takes too long for shows to finish on TV (five minutes of commercials doesn't help), so that was weird.

Has anyone here read "Peyton Place" by Grace Metalious?

I was watching an episode of "Masters of Sex" where one of the characters was reading it. I looked it up after, and ever since I've been reading different things about the author's life and her struggle after publishing the book. I'm considering watching the movie, but.. that usually comes after reading the book.

I thought about trying to watch that too, but the length (over 500 episodes, jesus) and lack of recent video releases (I did find one DVD set, though it only covered between 30-60 episodes) makes it a lot more difficult than a movie or two.

As expected/feared, the 'anime themed' episode of "Face Off" was 97% disappointment with only two that didn't look scary as hell, and one that was almost-not-horrible.
Spoiler: show
I get the feeling that despite wandering around Akihabara for however long SyFy thought was "good enough", they managed to never come across one decent mask - if they had, maybe they wouldn't have adapted the style into such ugly faces.

Can we just go back to creepy crawlies, horror, and random crap like candy, SyFy? It works out better for you in the end.

I just noticed that episodes in the second season of Hannibal are named after dishes in Japanese cuisine.

Tonight's episode (which felt really short again):
Spoiler: show
Ugh, that very first scene was really disturbing. Sound effects and all. D: D: D:

I hope Dr. Du Maurier doesn't go anywhere any time soon.
