Nakky is at her sixth wwoofing location so far. I think she said it's the last one for this year. At this location she's taking care of an 85 year old man who just needs someone to cook and take care of the basic household things for him. It's her first time doing this kind of thing. He has fruit trees.

2:40 She's really enjoying doing these mundane house tasks and wishes it wouldn't end... but she has to leave.

It was difficult for her (Suzuki) Splash to get to this location, driving on a gravel road. I think she says that, with the combination of her tiny Splash and her beginner-level driving skills she couldn't drive the last kilometer up the mountain. She had to call the guy to come get her. I think she said he has a car where the gas and brake are on the wheel. He is a former American pilot and he was in real estate. It is perhaps because of his experience in real estate that he managed to get such a beautiful piece of property with an impressive view. He has 3 water tanks (I think that means 9000 gallons). She is impressed that he is a skilled painter and she wishes she could bring one of his pieces back home with her. But they're too big!

So far she has cooked chicken and okonomiyaki for him and he really liked it. Tonight is nikujaga. Cooking for people makes her really happy. She worries about him and hopes that the next WWOOFER arrives soon to take care of him.

It's summer now, like really hot! She's a bit tanned already, and there will be more tanning to come!

8:45 A friend of hers has decided to come to NZ for a holiday and wants recommendations about where to go. Nakky is troubled by the fact that the good locations are spread out quite a bit, so she has to decide on just one spot. (Going to multiple spots takes time and money).
Thinking about it, she realizes that Hawaii is fierce competition, with its nice weather year-round and compact size. But she loves NZ, with it's kind people and beautiful nature.
