Announced today on her 30th Birthday (8/1), Wada Ayaka has ended her contract with Y-UM Entertainment. She has no plans to join another agency, but instead she will go independent. She was with Y-UM for 5 years (8/1/2019)
Yamagishi Riko announced she hasn't been feeling well and was diagnosed with adjustment disorder. So she will have drop out of her current stage play. Sudo Maasa will take her place as the lead role as Saori on short notice.
First of all, this is a sudden announcement, I am truly sorry.
I have been feeling ill for the last week, After a visit to the hospital, I was diagnosed with an adjustment disorder, and as a result, I have been asked to withdraw from the stage production of "The Curtain Rises."
I am very sorry to all of you who have been looking forward to this event and to everyone involved and to the troupe.
Since I graduated from Tsubaki Factory last November I have performed in 5 productions so far. Each one is a precious memory for me.
When I heard that I would be playing the lead role for the first time on the stage and that I would be the first chairperson, I was so happy that I was determined to do my best, but day by day I began to feel more and more uncomfortable with my physical condition.
Still, I managed to get myself going, I knew I could do it if I tried hard enough.
However, the more I thought that I did not want to give up, the more my body and mind started to fail me, and I decided that I was in no condition to perform on stage, and if I was still in this condition when the show started, I would cause trouble for the cast and everyone else involved.
I am very grateful to Sudo Maasa, my senior, who took over as the understudy on short notice, and I am very grateful to her. Thank you very much, Maasa-san.
Thank you very much for your support for "The Curtain Rises"
I would be happy if you would wait for me so that I can be in good physical condition to stand in front of you again in a healthy appearance.
