I'm sure it was meant more in the way that Aichan is talented enough and has charisma enough so that she would be able to become a "Queen of Pop" ... once Ayu steps down. Which will probably not happen anytime soon but still. ^^;

Calling her Ayu after that PV is a huge insult to Ayu. Both the song and PV are a snore and Aichan always deserved better than the solo material they gave her.

At least she got to share Love since 1999 with Ayu.

I wouldn't call it an insult, and in terms of talent as a performer, I would definitely say that Aichan is at the same level. But, for example we have no idea of how much Aichan is for writing her own lyrics or anything similar to that.
'sides, Aichan wants to become an musical actress more than anything so we probably won't see anything like aiming for the stars anytime soon anyway.
