Actually, no. Oricon's weekly chart is from Monday to Sunday, so only one more day will be counted in the first week's sales.

(Yes, that means the first week — with the new releases on Tuesday — is a short week.)

If the single comes out on wednesday, and the sales start on tuesday...
And oricon's first day sales come out wednesday night (in japan...) How could it be monday to sunday?? O.O

He's saying that the way that Oricon counts it's sales is:
Monday totals, Tuesday Totals, Wednesday totals....Sunday Totals.
NEW singles are released on Tuesdays, so for their first week, Monday totals = ZERO.
If they survive to a second week, then they will have a number for that second Monday, but it counts with the second week's sales, not with the first.
