I'm desappointed. This was the wiredest announcement ever. Seriously. Tsunku was like "Congratulations" and then left the room and now she's announced to the public in a private event wich we don't have any info of. Also... just one girl is really frustating. I hate when Tsunku goes with this 1 gen thing because, honestly, it just worked for the 3rd generation.

About Sakura though, the clip made me like her more. MM is in a real need of a strong singer and she's a very good one. She can also dance. And, although she's pretty shy, her personality seems lovely and she's hardworking. She doesn't have the great looks, but she isn't ugly at all. She's quite cute but her new haircut doesn't help her. She doesn't seem photogenic either. But I have no doubt that the idol magic will work on her and turn her into a pretty girl.
So I ended up liking her but I'm still not impressed. She's the only one in her generation wich means she gotta have not only talent but tons of charisma. Maki had it. Koharu, even though she was a mess, had it as well. And that what failed in the 8th gen, because Aika didn't have it at all. Let's see how Sakura will turn out to be...
I'm cheering for her though.

MM。are currently regaining their popularity. My guess is that Tsunku wants to keep public interest, and by that he must not confuse them too much. If he added four girls, people would notice, and they might not put in the effort to learn their names. Plus, they might think that 14 members is too much. However, with just one new girl, the general public may not all realise, or just assume she's been there since the last audition. Also, I'm thinking Tsunku wants the public to know THIS MM。, and he wants them to get as familiar with these girls as possible.

That makes perfect sense, btw. My thoughts exactly... just too lazy to word it as good as that. I wholeheartedly agree!

I don't mind just one girl joining. She looked a lot better before that...butcher cut. Gah. She has a great voice, seems to be sweet enough... I'm a fan. Just not a fan of that hideous fringe.

Since May of this year, a new audition "Suppin Utahime" has been held to find a new Morning Musume。 members. And finally the new 11Ki (which means the 11th generation) member has been chosen!! Sakura is pretty all you people are blind ! And Yaaay I'm glad she got in I guess every 4 gens there's gonna be a solo gen ? And no Sakura car be the new aichan cus Riho Dillard those shoes , but I'm getting an Aichan vibe from Sakura though. She's just so pure spirited as warm Annie such a natural good performer ! Might be my new favorite member
