Can we start comparing her to Koharu and Aika now ?
Cause i think i already like her better than the two combined in voice and looks(you guys need to get your eyes checked she's cute ) department and i enjoyed watching her having lots of fun in the short performance in that announcement video.
And in regards to being a single member generation, it's a pretty good environment in momusu to be one right now. Eight other members are around her age and with only two senpais with noticeable age difference (and one of them loooooveeessss young girls anyway ) it's a lot less intimidating than it was for 7th and 8th single members. Better still she should at least know something about the other members'(even just their names for starters) and perhaps the members also knows a little about her/finds her face familiar since she was a kenshuusei for a year. So yeah, i guess i'm finally ok with her being a the only addition this time

still looking for that single gen ace maki, eh tsunku? I think with more video footage, I like Sakura more but at the same time I wish they didn't add one person and didn't rush this. It is a huge buzzkill.

Echidna, if you're gonna count Aika as a 1 person generation then logically you would have to count Miki as a 1 person generation also. So you don't like her either, I guess?

And anyway, Koharu I can understand, sorta. I mean, she was oversold as the salvation of Momusu, and then people found it necessary to construct this narrative of "she couldn't play well with others," as to why she was "kicked out" of Morning Musume, even though she seems to be getting along with others just fine on OhaSta, long after Eripon's lack of basic baton skills got her the boot. But AIKA??? I mean, poor girl's bones couldn't hold up but there isn't anything even remotely unlikeable about her. She was an angel the entire time, as far as I could tell. Did she pee in somebody's coffee when I wasn't looking?

I feel like "Suppin Utahime" in terms of Sakura means "Doesn't look that great but hey she can really sing!". I guess that makes her the perfect addition. Personally she seems to have a lot of potential in looks, singing and dancing. She's not ace-like like Maki Gotou, isn't just bland like Aika was upon addition, or bratty like Koharu came across. Really she seems sweet and talented and I have a feeling she is going to grow to be gorgeous. Total Ai-chan vibes. Aichan didn't scream Ace when she joined but after she blossomed she became the lead singer of the group.

Also I had a wierd thought:

Is Sakura supposed to just sing Suki na Senpai by herself???
