Sayashi Riho, Asumi Rio, and Satoshi Hashimoto cast in the new TV Tokyo drama "Oshi wo Meshiagare"

The drama series is based on 2023 novel “Reiwa Bulgaria Yogurt” by Ayako Miyagi. Sayashi will play Yuzu Hodaishi. She became a big fan of a novel about yogurt, while she looked for a job and eventually got hired by a food company. Asumi will play Itsumi Midori. She works with Yuzu Hodaishi in the PR department for the food company. Hashimoto will play I, who is yogurt bacteria and follows Itsumi Midori.

Synopsis
While Yuzu Hodaishi (Sayashi) tried to find a decent job, she became hooked on a novel about yogurt and became a big fan of the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus that appeared in the novel. Meanwhile, I (Hashimoto), is a lactobacillus bulgaricus and sees Yuzu Hodaishi. I jumps out of the package of yogurt and follows her as an invisible presence. After a year of trying to find a job, Yuzu Hodaishi finally gets hired by a food company in Meiwa and gets assigned to work for the company in Osaka. Af first, she works with the supermarket staff, but she is transferred to PR department at the head office in Osaka. Her senior there is Itsumi Midori (Asumi). Yuzu Hodaishi struggles with her life in unfamiliar Osaka and also her work in the PR department. She then gets assigned to work on a magazine article for the 50th anniversary of Meiwa Yogurt.

Not saying that she was bad before or anything but to be honest this is the first time I've heard Riho sing where I didn't feel like she was struggling a wee bit. Also this song is giving late stage Amuro Namie so it's a win for me.

I really like this stoic performance. Reminded me of Ayaka Wada’s Une idole, but it is not as airy and bright as that. Do they need to tune-up those instruments?
