I don't really like covers ever since Pepper Keibu.
Its really a stain in an otherwise good discography for momusu. Plus it reduces the likelihood of seeing it on streaming, so by association I don't enjoy covers as much as original songs.

The only good exception to this I can think of is Go West maybe?

I really like that they adopted her vocal percussion from Kobushi’s Acoustics. And it seems to really fit for this single.
I wonder if perhaps they swapped over the A single to showcase Yume and Riai more along with Rei

I now realize where I heard DOWN TOWN before. Because it sounded familiar but I know I hadn’t heard the original. Sakamoto Maaya covered it as the opening for the anime Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru back in 2010.

Magazine Promotion

Today, Juice=Juice Dambara Ruru, Inoue Rei, Kudo Yume, and Matsunaga Riai had a photoshoot for BOMB gravure magazine April 2021 issue, to promote the new single. Release is March 9th.
