ºC-ute's ballads tend to be misses with me, except for "Kono Machi" which I ADORE (unpopular opinion there, LOL!) Arigatou had a sweet and nostalgic message but IMO, the composition was just so bland! I have a feeling "Ai wa Maru de Seidenki" will be a "Digitalic Love" type song and "Mugen Climax" will be a "Jounetsu Ecstasy" type song.

I loved KimiChari. Is that considered a ballad?

Doesn't matter, I still consider it to be a C-ute song.

Yeah then its probably my favorite C-ute ballad. But the song and PV were really sweet.

I like a few of Morning Musume's ballads too. Overall, I don't prefer them though and especially not as singles. Maybe more as album tracks and in concerts.

on her radio show, Maimi said the lyrics for Ai wa Maru de Seidenki were written by Kodama Ameko. The lyrics for Mugen Climax is written by Oomori Seiko.

on her blog, Maimi says she listened to the demo tape for Mugen Climax and didn't notice anything unusual until she saw something that really surprised her when reading the lyrics card. The lyrics card had the names of all 8 members of C-ute in it. All 8 names were put into it with love by Oomori Seiko.

Ameko lyrics! I think I'm starting to turn into an AmekoWota D:!

But I love the idea that Oomori Seiko did as well. As one of their last singles and their 30th it's a cool kind of song to have. (And fans love this kind of stuff as many of us tried so hard to have that be a thing with Kono Chikyuu lol)

Oh my god, how sweet! That warms my heart :) Reminds me of how in "Gamusha LIFE"'s PV they had the former members' names on the wall, as well.
