Country Musume was great and I hope the new group can keep up with the old Country Musume.
I wonder if Futari no Hokkaido would ever be sung, whenever I watch the video for this I am always reminded of what happened to Hiromi

I immediately thought Manaka for obvious reasons but I kind of agree with Amped that if this is only going to be a group with a lower status less singles etc. certainly the top rank Kenshuusei (including Manaka) are probably better for a new unit or MM. Still not everyone is going to get in that group or have enough chances to get into MM so it a bit of a dilemma for the trainees.

i think they should make this audition for Satoyama, because Satoda Mai just wants to use someone to keep the group name alive and someone to continuing her gardening and farming activities for her too. i don't think they'll do much singing.

Who said this was going to be a side unit? The original might of been, but maybe this new generation will be one of the main acts, now that Aika is on hiatus.
