Kobushi Factory's Fujii Rio has left H!P (7/6/17)

Fujii Rio announced she will graduate this Summer from Kobushi Factory and H!P to follow her other dream, becoming a teacher or a nurse. She thought of trying to balance her studies and activities with Kobushi Factory. She decided on graduation to focus on studies at University.

She will continue activities with the new single, the tour, and the movie.

Aww.

I like her a lot, so it is sad to see her go. But she has been known to be the smarter one in H!P, so I am also not surprised to see her leave to pursue other jobs. I wish she would have tried to manage like Momo though.

She did tried, it just didn't worked out. It's not easy to be both a full time student and a full time employee.

^^ If she goes the nurse route though, that's going to require a lot more effort with labs and residencies and all kinds of weird hours, so it's understandable to just straight forwardly free up her schedule to allow for any possibility. University can be stressful enough without the added load of constant touring/plays/events, and not everyone wants to or is capable of juggling that.

I still think of her as "strange milk-chugging girl", and she has never been high on my list of members, but I've always found her to be interesting with a contagious smile. I respectfully wish her luck and happiness with her future endeavors.

after Fujii Rio graduates, Inoue Hikaru will be the only one left from 19th gen Kenshuusei. Inaba Manaka is not going to come back.

I remember back in the S/mileage auditions thinking "ew who is this girl with whipped cream in her mouth" to "wow this girl is going to be a star" in such a short amount of time .


She will truly be missed.

Fujii Rio says she will keep a smile till her last day on Sept. 2nd (at the H!P Summer Concert ~HELLO! MEETING~ finale in Hiroshima, which is also Kobushi Factory's anniversary of their major debut single)
