One of the stamps that I used to mail your card, Stereo, was probably in my possession since before you were born! It was in my U.S. stamp album for quite a few years, but I eventually upgraded to an unhinged block of the whole set and moved this stamp into my postage drawer, where it stayed for years since then, waiting for the right postal rate and a deserving recipient.

Finally got Stereo's package! Thanks so much for the unexpected extras.

I ended up saving them after all, so I went ahead and opened everything today at the same time. It was a lot of fun, all the cards are wonderful (so much variety. ) Huge thank you to everyone. I'll leave them out to look at for a little while and then store them with the cards from last year.
