Oota Haruka is working to come back to H!P, but not as a member of ANGERME. It's not clear if she's rejoining Hokkaido KSS or... something else. More information will be released later.

I know we don't usually make threads for just anything here, but I had no idea where else to put it, that it would actually get seen? And that we somehow never actually made a thread for her initial suspension??
... I'm tempted to move old posts into this one.

More like Kosuga's case maybe? I wonder where she will placed during her comeback. I guess this the time for Anju to recruit more members (audition and Kenshuu maybe)

I guess sorta like that, but Fuyuka was never a KSS prior to being an ANGERME sub-member. I wonder if they're still not sure what to do with her, but demotion to KSS after a 7-month wait would feel way too rough. But also, giving her her own group or solo activities would feel like she's gotten a BONUS for breaking the rules, so... what's to be done.

More like Inaba Manaka. Oota is starting from the bottom and working her way up. Manaka started working with Kenshuusei Hokkaido, while being a mentor to to them. Then they can figure out where her skills are needed. I guess you can say she was.. demoted in a nicer way.

Our member Haruka Ohta has been on hiatus since March of this year, but her time with ANGERME has come to an end.
In the future, we aim to help her from the ground up so that she can work in Hello! Project again.

Since we as an agency did not provide enough support for Oota,
on how to be an idol and how to prepare her for it,
we will work hard to make sure that this will not happen again in the future.

Since the suspension, Oota has had to re-examine herself again and take a fresh look at herself
Through this process, she was able to confirm that she wants to continue her activities in the future.
As she continues her daily lessons, we will give her a fresh start Hello! Project.
We are looking forward to working with her.

In the midst of it all, I left my activities in Angerme and I have decided to go back to my roots and to work hard.

Good evening.


It was just announced that Oota Haruka, who was currently on hiatus, has ended her activities.

Haa-chan during this hiatus period really, really answered this carefully.

Let me tell you first.
I'm going to be honest about what I was thinking today.

Since Haa-chan went on hiatus,
Haa-chan and I kept in touch with each other from time to time.

Haa-chan told me about what she wanted to do and how she wanted to do it, and she told me about the current members and how she felt about Angerme.

Haa-chan told me what she can do to help us during her break.
I think I've done the best I could.

I'm relieved to see that she is making good progress, and
To be honest, I had no idea that this has ended, and I was sad, but I realized that it's not a bad thing for her future.

I strongly believe that fans will kindly watch over her now, not to probe too deeply or blame anyone.

Haa-chan and I were members of this current group.
We were together more than anyone else, and I have many memories.

We even went out a lot.
I have so many memories of the two of us.

When I joined Angerme, it was just the two of us, so we always stayed together, and if something happened, we would solve it together. That was the norm for me, so when Haa-chan took a break and I was left alone, I felt so sad.

I realized that I had been helped a lot by her.

That's why,
Since I've been without her for a period of time,
I think I've carried her share of the work on my back.

And it's going to continue to be the same, and I'm going to carry her share of the load on my back.
We will protect the group well.

We're going to do our best for each other.
And let's take it a little bit at a time.
I hope you'll be a Haa-chan who laughs a lot like before.

But in regards to Oota, I’m glad she’s returning, but sad it’s not with ANGERME. My heart goes out to Layla. I hope she isn’t too lonely.

Oota Haruka has decided to end her activities as an Angerme member and is starting from scratch so she is able to work with Hello! Project again in the future.

During this period of inactivity, she had to reevaluate herself, and after much consideration, she has come to this decision.

From now on, she will work harder than ever before to return to you. I believe in her words and I will continue to watch over her so that she can make a new start.

I wonder if Oota had any say at all in what happened.
Both Layla's and Takechan's blogs makes it sound like her opinion/wants were heard at least.
Maybe it's just as simple as "do you wanna stay and start over from scratch or do you wanna leave?" and she chose to start over... but, considering how nice and considerate UF are with their girls, it wouldn't have surprised me if they'd put her back in Angerme either? idk. Doesn't make much sense that Oota would have said no to Angerme, I guess, but then again what do we know
