Berryz Kobo have grown like this with all the support they received until now. And to be able to reach this level of accomplishment in their activity, all the members have the feeling this is thanks to everyone and feel gratitude.
From now, there will be the live at Nippon Budokan on September, the Autumn’s tour and new songs released. Members as well as the staff feel gratitude to everyone and ask everyone for their support.

Berryz工房来年春で無期限活動休止
Supposedly they will stop all activities.
Essentially they're disbanding without using the word.

sales wise this makes no sense.
but can't say I didn't see this coming, the way they've been treated I bet this has been planned months beforehand. I hope this doesn't backfire on C-ute.

Does this spell the end of Momochi? Honestly individually I think only momoko has anything really to do, maybe if Yurina goes the modelling route. I just don't see her doing that though.

This seems to be the fact. From many twitter reports, the member explicitly said that they don't want to use the word disband, so they are going on indefinite hiatus instead. But why now ...

As much as I'll miss some of them, gotta remember they're women in their 20s.
They just might want to do something new and move on.

This unfortunately doesn't surprise me at all.
That said I wonder about concerts and individual activities.

Lolwut, guys? This makes total sense. They had a good run. It makes sense that they wanted to end on a high note after their 10th anniversary.
I dunno, it's not surprising. When else would they do it?
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the girls who came up with this decision themselves.

I'm speechless. I always knew that this day would come sooner or later, but... Not this soon. The moment they start rising in sales, too...
I hope none of them just disappear, though.

Well, I thought they would last for a little while because they seemed to get some fire back right around and after Budokan last year. Their last tour was really one of their best tour in a long time. So the timing doesn't make much sense for me. But yeah I am not surprised that the members came up with this decision themselves. This is good for Momo although what the hell the others are going to do, especially Maasa and Chinami.
