I noticed that Makoto introduced them as HelloPro Eggs, which implies that the H!P Kenshuusei are not Eggs. So H!P really did drop the Eggs program and replaced it with H!P Kenshuusei

No. The UUG members were in the group when they were called Eggs.

So was Karin, Kaneko, Sayubee and a whole bunch of other senior Eggs who are now called Kensyuusei
During the OG fan club event a couple years back, at the beginning of the event they were still refered to as H!P Eggs. Then halfway thru, H!P Eggs had that mass graduation and the OGs had to start calling them Kenshuusei. Yuuko was mumbling about it becoz she had a hard time remebering to call them Kenshuusei ^^; I tot it was simply a name change from H!P Eggs to H!P Kenshuusei but it seems that was not the case.

Well whatever I'm still calling them Eggs LOL

Uh yeah, it is.

But the UUG members all graduated before the name was changed to Kenshuusei. That's why they're referred to as Eggs. Because that's what the name was when they were in the group. Those girls you mentioned are still members, so they're Kenshuusei.
