gangnam style's structure reminds me of party rock anthem a ton so that doesn't surprise me at all.

Oddly enough it apparently syncs up with Space Jam perfectly lol.

haven't listened to this in while but this is my most played of all Ayu's songs

I liked Ayu's stuff up until GUILTY came out. I am... is my favorite album of hers. I did like a few songs from her last one, but her voice really bugs me these days.

Also, following up on the "repeating songs" thing from the musings thread, I stopped repeating songs a few years ago.
I realized that by repeating them, I get sick of them quickly and don't listen to them for a long time.
Quite a few songs get the waterworks going, too. Sometimes I can be feeling really happy, then a song comes on and I start bawlin'.

I may not care for Ayu releases now but she has an incredible discography in terms of songs so credit where credit is due, especially the ones she composed with DAI. Phenomenal.

Repeating songs is something I'm terribly guilty of. Pop's addictive and it just is designed to hit that spot in the brain so I just keep listening (or consuming, the junk food metaphors just apply so well.)

I don't think I've ever listened to an entire Ayu song before. Unless she's done something for an anime series I watched, and even then it was probably only part of a song and not the whole thing.

It was the third ending theme of the anime series InuYasha.

Had to look up what episodes the third theme started on.

And then look up the song, and it didn't trigger anything so I'm going to say either I surprisingly never got that far or I didn't like the song enough to keep watching the ED sequence (I'm thinking this, because after finding it and listening to it just a moment ago I can say I was bored enough to fast foward part of it and still turn it off before it finished).

I did get to listen to these in the process though. Worth it.
