(S?)He used to post something and then delete it right after, replacing with an enigmatic emoticon. I think the idea was supposed to be that he had made a super-clever bon mot but the rest of us dullards were just too slow and undeserving, and thus doomed to forever miss out on his rapier wit by mere moments. In all likelihood it was probably something nonsensical or banal like my Aika comment but such is the effect of mystery!

I may have over-analyzed all of that, possibly.

Oh yeah, I remember that. It was the emoticon. It's just in H!I, where less people posted (but did not necessarily post less over time ), he'd actually delete his post altogether even if it's just some random comment so we got into the habit of quoting everything he posts just because. As I remember, he didn't post in the forum a lot. There was a chat on the main page.

Hence my question about deleting.

Anyway, I was honestly also going to comment on how the sashimi they ordered looked delicious.
