Sayaka was the first H!P member (or ex-H!P member) that I knew by name. I discovered CUBIC-CROSS on HEY! HEY! HEY! soon after I'd discovered Morning Musume, who were at that point still an undifferentiated mass of Japanese girls to me. I didn't learn until later that Sayaka had been in Morning Musume.
After the Elder Club grad concert, I saw a guy wearing a vintage 2002 CUBIC-CROSS tour t-shirt. I went all fanboy about it, and the guy was surprised that I'd ever heard of them.

Sayaka's not one of my favourites, but some of the CUBIC-CROSS stuff is good. I think my favourite song is Mae, Susume。.
