The Lemino App had a special Produce 101 livestream (region blocked) on youtube and revealed some behind the scenes tidbits from Produce 101 Japan The Girl by the staff

- In the first Level Evaluation stage, teams were formed by the staff by putting together the trainees who have something in common. This creates a balanced performance by the entire team.
- Costumes were prepared by trainees themselves according to the concept.
- The training period is one week after meeting each other and another one week after living together in Korea, for total of two weeks. Momona and Cocoro (rebloom) put together a performance in a short of amount of time is impressive.


- Since so many of the trainees audition submitted videos included many overseas songs, they were not allowed to show them on the show or livestream due to copyright restrictions.


- During Murakami Rinon's final audition, she did a "water tasting" test. She got them all wrong, but she passes the audition anyway! So later, in Rinon's 1-minute PR video, she changed it to a "taste testing tea" and got them all wrong again!


- The casting of the trainers is decided unanimously.
- The trainers were so passionate about the trainees that it took over 6 hours to re-evaluate them.
- Team NANA was originally 3 members called Team NANANA. The third member dropped out. They performed Perfume's "FLASH" as 2.


- The story of Sakurai Miu's 16 pieces of bread will be shown in Kimura Kaela's Korea tour special program on February 14th, where she will make a surprise visit to see ME:I.

Imagine me eating my shorts because I told somebody the CD was "gunna sell a million copies."
Still very good numbers for an album with one edition. The fact it's been on streaming for a few months probably curtailed some sales. Anyway, I was going to buy the couple songs I liked from Mora but they weren't there. so after wondering if Lapone puts any of their artists on digital music purchasing sites I did find out that the boy group from PD 101 Season 2, INI, was there so it's safe to assume ME:I will be too. Some companies are so controlling of where they put stuff... Starto (formerly Johnny's) .
I imagine there's something about licensing and credits that stops them from putting the songs from the show up for digital purchase rather than streaming.

Anyway, I know they won't but I hope Momona keeps hot pink as her member color if not just because, as an appreciator of color theory, hot pink is so absolutely perfect for her.
Momona being mad that Coco didn't let her say she likes 86% chocolate was funny. Loving that rebloom combi.

I think given Momona had said she wanted to move past her former ANGERME image, I think it would make more sense she gets a different member colour, although then again her first evaluation did have her in a Pink outfit. It would be nice to see Momona in a different colour. I found that throughout the entire season Momona had grown and changed almost like Kasahara Momona of ANGERME and Kasahara Momona of ME:I are two very different people.
I think perhaps Red would suit ME:I’s Momona given her tenacity passion and determination throughout the entire season

I won the ticket lottery for ME:I's ME:ICONIC opening show in Tokyo on 27th March, meaning I will be attending their first ever live show and fan meeting event!

I am quite excited, but also nervous and anxious because it will be my first idol event. Also I expect the crowd to be mostly young people so I dunno if I will fit in, but I'm gonna try and have fun!
