Both Suzuki and Goto made their debut in the entertainment industry after auditions held for the TV Tokyo variety show "ASAYAN. Suzuki made her debut as a singer through a vocalist audition held in 1998, and Goto joined Morning Musume the following year in 1999 after passing an audition for additional members.
This will be the first time that the two, who currently belong to the same office, will collaborate in a live performance. Suzuki said, "I feel like we are comrades who have been active in the same era, and that's why we can communicate with each other without saying anything. Although I am younger than her, I feel that I can rely on her like an older sister," and Goto says, "I have been listening to Ami's albums since I sang her songs during my audition for Morning Musume, so I am very happy to be able to work with her this time."
The concept of the live concert is "a gorgeous Christmas party for adults. The event will feature solo performances, sessions by the two, talks, and more. The visuals of the two, which were shot to match the concept, have also been released.
