On August 25th, Tsubaki Factory held their first outdoor solo live "Tsubaki Factory Natsu Matsuri 2022 ~Shakunetsu~" at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater.

This event was announced at their performance at Budokan on May 16th, the 5th anniversary of their major label debut, and a video series called "strategy meeting" was shown on the YouTube sub-channel, which was launched on the 5th anniversary.

The event attracted about 3,000 people for the two performances after thorough infection control measures were taken at the venue. Before the daytime performance began, Governor Kotaro Nagasaki of Yamanashi Prefecture took the stage and gave a speech.

All the members who appeared on stage were dressed in the members' color costumes for the occasion. With the festival music taste of the intro, Onoda Saori said, "We're going to bloom! Let's get excited! and followed with "Adrenaline Dame", a confident and promising performance. The 9th single (released on June 29th), which includes these two songs, has been ranked No. 1 in Oricon Weekly Single Ranking, proving Tsubaki Factory's current momentum.

After the performance of "Nineteen no Shinkirou," the leader Yamagishi Riko commented, "Contrary to the title (Shakunetsu = scorching hot), it is actually cool right now. (laugh)" during the MC. Although the weather was cloudy that day at Stellar Theater, which is located in an environment where the weather can change easily, "It hasn't rained yet. We are holding it off." Kasai Yuumi, who hails from her hometown Yamanashi Prefecture, said, "We are really fired up for our first triumphant return, but we want to make the live even more passionate than that!" Fukuda Marine also expressed her enthusiasm, "I am very happy that all 12 of us can perform at such a big venue in this special year of our 5th anniversary of our major label debut. I hope everyone will get excited about Tsubaki Factory today, and I will do my best."

In the middle of the show, the shuffle units performed covers of Hello Pro Summer Songs. Five units with different numbers of members were decided in the "strategy meeting" videos held beforehand, and Marine Fukuda, who was in charge of solo, took the top spot with "Koi no Jubaku" by Berryz Kobo. The duet of Yamagishi Riko and Yagi Shiori turned the venue into vitamin colors with "Yeah! Meccha Holiday. The entire ensemble returned to the Stellar Theater to perform "Dot Bikini" by S/mileage and "Watashi ga Obasan ni Natte mo" by Moritaka Chisato, who has covered the song in their indie works, to raise the tension. They also performed "My Darling ~Do you love me?" and "Samba! Tsubaki Janeiro," the atmosphere on stage was completely summery.

In the second half of the shuffle unit block, the "Saokiki" duo of Onoda Saori and Asakura Kiki took on the challenge of performing "Rainbow Pink," a song by Morning Musume (Shigepink, Kohapink). Onoda's image color is peach and Asakura's image color is light pink. The trio of Niinuma Kisora, Akiyama Mao, and Yofuu Runo expressed the heavy beat of Morning Musume's "Shabondama" with their whole body, while the quartet of Tanimoto Ami, Kishimoto Yumeno, Ono Mizuho, and Kasai Yuumi performed Kobushi Factory's "GO TO THE TOP" adding a rich variety to the lineup.

After the dignified latest single "Yowasa Janai yo, Koi wa", a new live song "Kimi to Boku no Kizuna" (The bond between you and me) was performed here. The song, written and composed by Nakajima Takui, is his first ballad for the current group. Asakura and Yagi introduced the song, saying, "It seems to represent Tsubaki Factory" with its positive lyrics and choreography that is divided according to when the members joined the group.

Another new live song, "Summer Challenger," whose existence had been revealed beforehand, was performed here. During the last minute choreography practice, Kishimoto and Akiyama encouraged the audience by saying, "You guys are the best! You are all super cute! and "You are all super cute!" as they called out to the audience, and from the intro choreography, the entire venue was enveloped in a colorful sense of unity. With the audience sharing the special tension, the second half of the show started with a series of aggressive numbers, including "Sankaime no Date Shinwa" and "Masayume". The second half of the show ended with "Dansha-ISM,"

For encore, the members of Tsubaki Factory performed "Konya Dake Ukaretakatta" in T-shirts and enjoyed the powerful live performance. After the song, each member shared their impressions.

Yofuu Runo said, "This was my first time to perform outside and I was worried about my stamina, but I'm having so much fun now, so I'm really glad I could perform here! I'm so glad we were able to perform here!"
Fukuda Marine said, "Did everyone get excited?" I quoted the lyrics of my song from "Yowasa Janai yo, Koi wa""
Yagi Shiori, referring to her shuffle unit with Yamagishi, said, "I tried my best to make the unit song sexy."
Kasai Yuumi, who is from Yamanashi Prefecture, said, "I didn't expect the audience to be so excited about my triumphant return performance, and I hope to perform at Stellar Theater for the next year and the year after that!"

Finally, Yamagishi Riko, the leader of the group but who had been forced to undergo medical treatment until just before the concert due corona infection, cried, "First of all, I am so, so happy to be here. The members also said, "Riko! You did your best! I'm so happy to be here," she said tearfully. I couldn't attend rehearsals for a long time, and I was worried because I was practicing by myself, not knowing if I would be able to perform or not. But I definitely wanted to perform, and since I was going to perform, I wanted to make sure it would be a good stage. I was very happy that all 12 of us were able to perform together on stage today," said Yamagishi. The audience gave them a hearty round of applause.

The last song of the show was "Happy Cracker." Soap bubbles were shot during the daytime performance, and fireworks were shot at the end of the night performance, ending a beautiful summer memory.
