It is announced that Morning Musume. '22 is invited to perform at this year's "Inazuma Rock Festival 2022" in Shiga prefecture on September 19th (Day 3), thanks to Nishikawa Takanori, a music festival he created.

Momoiro Clover Z and Morning Musume. '22 will perform at <Inazuma Rock Fes. 2022>.

The <Inazuma Rock Fes.> is the largest outdoor live event in Shiga Prefecture, and is held every September on the shore of Lake Biwa under the theme of water quality preservation and regional development, initiated by artist Nishikawa Takanori (T.M. Revolution), who serves as Shiga's hometown tourism ambassador.

This event started in 2009 and has become an established summer tradition in Shiga, will be held at the well-known Karasuma Peninsula Lawn Square in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture for the 14th year, after being held online the year before last and being canceled last year due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

This year, the event will be held over three days, September 17th (Sat.), 18th (Sun.), and 19th (Mon.)

Morning Musume's 25th Anniversary is September 14th. Maybe Morning Musume will do a collab performance with Nishikawa Takanori on stage. This is just as big as Rock in Japan Festival.

Nishikawa Takanori has invited other groups likes Babymetal, SCANDAL, Wagakki Band, Hinatazaka46 etc.

The good news

Morning Musume. '22 Kaga Kaede has recovered from her vertigo and was allowed and has already returned to work this week.

http://www.helloproject.com/news/14535/

the bad news

Morning Musume. '22 Morito Chisaki had a fever and sore throat since yesterday, took a PCR test (they conduct a test ahead before every concert tour performance, so she had to take one anyway) and tested positive for corona. Morning Musume. '22 Nonaka Miki, Kaga Kaede, Yokoyama Reina and Juice=Juice Arisawa Ichika were determined to be in close contact. They will be taking a leave of absence for a while as a waiting period. No fever or any other changes have been confirmed in the above 4 persons so far.

The Morning Musume. '22 CONCERT TOUR ~Never Been Better!~ performance on May 14th~15th in Nagoya is cancelled.

Juice=Juice Juice=Juice CONCERT TOUR ~terzo~ performances on May 14th in Nagoya and May 15th in Sapporo will go on as scheduled, but Arisawa Ichika will be absent.

http://www.helloproject.com/news/14536/

Kaga Kaede and Arisawa Ichika can't catch a break at all.

The live opened with "Masayume," the last song performed at the first Budokan concert. Asakura Kiki shouted "Let's go, Budokan!" and attracted the audience with her gorgeous performance to connect the "continuation of the dream". After the first part of the block, Yamagishi Riko, the leader of the group, said, "I am so happy to be on this stage again on the dreamy Nippon Budokan!" and each of them turned their smiles to the audience as they greeted the audience.

After the MC, the group performed for the first time a new song from their new single, "Yowasa Janai yo, Koi wa" which will be released on June 29th. The song is impressive with its flowery, carefully choreographed lyrics that combine freshness and girlish strength, as well as the expressions on the members' faces.

Their detailed expression and presence, which evokes a faint scent of flowers through their sound and performance, are the essence of Tsubaki Factory. After they performed their new song, "Fuwari, Koi Dokei" was next, and then the live went into a medley. Starting with "Hatsukoi Sunrise," they performed six songs with dialogues, some of which were newly added at this Budokan, featuring dialogues and facial expressions of each member. A ballet-like choreography by Yagi and Fukuda Marine in the interlude between songs also added to the world view.

After the medley, they performed "Adrenaline Dame" from their new single for the first time. This is a passionate dance-rock number that shows the energetic side of Tsubaki Factory. The chants by all the members before the interlude were also spectacular. The audience applauded loudly after the song.

After a very short MC, the second half of the show started with the spirited "DanshaISM," which got the audience clapping and raised the heat level of the venue. The band folded into "Sankaime no Date Shinwa" and "Konya Dake Ukaretakatta" with a luxurious stage performance in which all the members participated in the full chorus throughout the live, and closed the last song of the main event with "i wa Ima, Ai wo Motometeru" in a gorgeous manner.

For the encore, the 12 members appeared on stage and tried their hand at body percussion. The energetic performance of Hyomen Choryoku ~Surface Tension~ with powerful claps and steps led to the energetic MC, where they directly expressed their impressions of the day and their gratitude to the audience.

Niinuma Kisora, who assumed the role of sub-leader at the end of last year, said, "I was really nervous. I was able to do my best because everyone was working so hard, and I was able to do my best because everyone was waiting for me, so I really appreciate it. Thank you everyone"

Yamagishi, the leader of Tsubaki Factory, said, "I am relieved that all 12 of us were able to perform at this show without any problems. I think we were able to show everyone a more matured Tsubaki Factory than at our last Budokan performance."

First announcement, the music video of the new song "Adrenaline Dame" would be released tonight. Then, it was announced that the group's solo live celebrating the 5th anniversary of their major label debut would be held on August 25th at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater.

Amidst high expectations for the outdoor one-man anniversary performance, the second Budokan one-man show ended with a spectacular performance of Kaerou Lets Go!"

Do H!P groups ever do concerts in Kyoto?

I've never noticed any and thought it was kinda odd if that is the case. Especially because they've done far places like Hokkaido & Okinawa plenty of times.

They have, but recently only live house tours in smaller venues. The Kyoto venues are small, and are not the right fit for bigger H!P hall concerts. Most people just take a ride to Osaka to see a concert anyway.

With so many idol groups these days, they probably have booked the smaller venues (Kyoto Muse, Kyoto FANJ) and bigger venue (ROHM Theatre Kyoto) in Kyoto first.
