Why isn't Kanon using her "Maro" name?

^ I thought that was a stage/character name just for ZOC. Of course the nickname "Maro" came from her old Cinderella gag and was somewhat popular among H!P members and fans, but she didn't take the full name "Maro Kannagi" until she joined ZOC. All the work she did as a lyricist, she did under her real name.

Speaking of ZOC: yes, it's still a thing and she's still a member of it, as of this past January at least…

That's a very cute and fearsome group name

Let’s not be coy ; hanadorobou translates as flower thief. There is a traditional Japanese comic theater piece called Hanadorobou, in which a man stole a cherry blossom, but was forgiven by singing a song.

From that came the expression, “Hanadorobou wa tsumi ni naranai,” which means, Stealing flowers doesn’t result in a crime, or I suppose more colloquially, stealing a flower is NBD. Which you might say to yourself to try to justify picking a flower while visiting a temple. (Announcer: It’s a crime.)

It was also in the title of a popular and cute Hatsune Miku song some years back, Sayounara Hanadorobou-San, produced by Meru and subsequently covered by utaite (cover-singer) Sana.
