A duo called "Mononkul" (Mon Oncle) has come out with a funky reharmonized cover of Daite Hold On Me. The bassline by itself is a groove but the vocal harmonies are at times jarringly discordant. I'll give them credit for swinging for the fences -- they are soo close to a homerun but as things stand it's more like a dramatically long foul that gets a few gasps from the crowd but in the end doesn't advance the runners. Tbh Daite's not really one of my faves to begin with. Anyway,

The Idolm@ster idol singer Hoshii Miki (voiced by Hasegawa Akiko) is releasing a character album on Feburary 10th, 2021. In the tracklist, she will be singing a cover of Juice=Juice's "Ijiwaru Shinai de Dakishimete yo" and gave credit to Tsunku.
