Up Up Girls New Members Final Audition Special on 12/6 @ 7pm (JST), 2am (PST)

Judges? I guess? Were vocal coach Sugiura Yoshimi, sound producer michitomo, and choreographer Takenaka Natsumi.

They had a talent portion at the beginning (that I think could've been cut entirely), and then sorted them into units of 4 to perform with Sekine.

Each unit performed the same setlist of songs with her.
1. Ai Ai Fire!!
2. HAPPY NAKED!!
3. Appare
4. Watashitachi

Winners to be announced at some point that I didn't catch because it's 7 a.m., I'm tired, I didn't expect this to run for 2 hours. The difference in stamina between Sekine and the auditionees was expected but still really funny.

My opinions have slightly changed after watching them perform.

Still yes: 2 (Meina), 6 (Nanase), 16 (Ayu), 18 (Seina), 21 (Sumire)
Okay: 1 (Ayako), 11 (Yuriko)
Fine: 3 (Yurika), 7 (Nanasa)
Conflicted: 10 (Yume)
Still not feeling it: 5 (Mako), 9 (Haruka)

#6, there's something off about her personality. I get this feeling she's deviously unbalanced and will remorselessly sabotage anyone who gets in her way. Having said that, she has real stage presence and fairly wowed me as a performer.

Despite my misgivings, which are hopefully imaginary, she'd be my overwhelming favorite if it weren't for #2's sparkling personality. She just comes off as so fun, sweet and earnest, if not the best singer.

#3 was better than I expected, maybe in my personal 3rd place. I just realized now that something about her face reminds me of Robin Shouko Okada.

I also liked the vaguely Kaori-looking #1.

Still don't care for #11, she reminds me of Chissa not in a good way.

#24 was amazing.

There is something a little odd about #6 that I haven't been able to place.

I'm glad we agree on #21*, of all my personal picks she's probably the one I want in the most.

...tbh I wasn't impressed by #21. I was talking about #24.

Up Up Girls (K) will appear with the new members at @JAM's New Year Premium Party 2021. If this image is accurate and not just made with generic silhouettes, I assume #21 didn't make it but #2 or #16 did (or some other girls got haircuts, which still seems more likely than #21 with extensions. )

Furukawa Konatsu, Mori Saki, Saho Akari, and Arai Manami will be graduating from UUG(K). Sekine Azusa will continue as the last original member in the new lineup after the audition is complete. A final live for the original 5 titled "UP UP GIRLS kakko KARI FIVE SOUL FOREVER" (アップアップガールズ（仮）FIVE SOUL FOREVER) will be held on December 17, 2020 at Zepp Tokyo. A farewell party is also planned, with info to be announced later.

The Up Up Girls graduation will be broadcasted live on TV Asahi Channel 1 on 12/17 @ 6:30pm
