In Tsubaki, Maopin is treated as a "baby sister". "I'm the youngest character, but I don't want to be an older sister. When I looked at today's outfit in the mirror, I thought, I'm finally an adult.
When I was looking at SNS in the dressing room, I was shocked by the adultness of Kassa (Kasahara Momona), and I got depressed, saying, "I still have a long way to go." "I feel that Kassa and Kokoro of the same grade are adult-like and Yamazaki Yuhane too. (laughs)."

"My goal as an 18 year old is to study more. It seems like I'm saying it every year, but even when I'm talking to the members, I often feel like I have to know them. I also want to aim at creating a dance that catches everyone's eye and a song that will remain in my heart."

- Maopin Sensei's JK language course.
Maopin teaches some JK language. "I don't use JK language very much, but I use it with Tsubaki. Kiso-chan sometimes uses it too. Mao tried to explain using some words like "Yabataen" and "Rebechi", but it ended just becoming an Osaka-dialect course.
After that, they tried to make Maopin translate an ordinary sentence into Maopin JK talk.

- Nandeyanen "Why?" Question Box corner.
"Nandeyanen" means Why? in Osaka dialect. This is a 2 stage Q&A. She answers the fan's question normally, then answers in Osaka dialect.
"Why do Osaka girls like Leopard Print?"
(Normal answer) "More like Aunts, not girls. But I haven't worn it yet, but my grandma is really proud of her leopard print."
(Nandeyanen answer) "I'll show you how to wear it when I'm old enough to look good. Just you wait!"

TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL usually happens in August, but this year it was moved to October 2nd, 3rd, 4th because of the Tokyo Olympics. The Olympics were postponed. Now, TIF staff have decided to cancel the October TIF2020 because of coronavirus concerns.

I'm sad to see it unable to happen, even if I expected it at this point. Really curious about how they're going to handle things online, especially with the huge number of acts that usually appear. I'm also wondering if H!P's presence will just be down to Tsubaki and BEYOOOOONDS this year. Maybe the Kenshuusei Unit again?
