About the album news. Pretty cool. I still need to get her first one. It’s an exciting time to be an Airi fan. She seems to be so busy.

But for a Hello! Project OG, it’s fantastic.

And that’s still first day. If she manages to sell 30k+ weekly, then she might make being a solo HP OG viable for others to try. She could also grow and become even more successful.

Release Day Big Promotion

Airi will appear on a special AbemaTV broadcast at the AbemaTV Shibuya studio "UDAGAWA BASE" on the release day of her new single on 9/4 @ 9pm. During live broadcast, she will perform a request studio live. They want it to get trending on Twitter. Plus she will have a big collab with a big artist. Also she will perform the "Escape" (Acoustic version) for the first time. Plus the full MV for "IDENTITY" will be shown for the first time. Also Behind the scenes footage from her MVs.

The sales are decent for a soloist in this group dominated industry now. Other soloists releasing this week with her are Otsuka Ai (barely 3k in previous singles) and Yamamoto Sayaka (debut single sold 35k). Airi is beating Sayaka right now.
