There has? I thought that was just an umbrella name given to the entire year of events, and I don't remember ever hearing it pronounced.

^Okay, maybe not, but that's what's given as the name of the artist on the mini-album. There are other OGs performing on the CD who aren't on the cover, though.

UF has in the past gotten crap for being slow to embrace new trends & technology (handshake events, social media accounts,...).
Luckily today's UF is almost a different company in that regard.

But as I go back through some older shows, a few times they seemed to be ahead of the times (so far ahead for it to not be quite effective when they tried it).

Specifically:

Haromoni@ & Moutube: the Morning Musume members were 'Youtubers' before the word even existed. This was in 2007.

Berryz Kobo's 'Ippun Gekijou': 1 minute clips that are exactly the sort of content you can find on the various H!P Instagram accounts today. But way back in 2010.

Next year, Morning Musume should take advantage of the Olympic year and call themselves Morning Musume. '2020 (Ni Zero Ni Zero instead of Two Zero).

I was thinking they would probably call themselves Morning Musume Two Oh because of that Year rule Tsunku added in
I’m now curious wether or not they will call them selves Morning Musume Two Oh, Morning Musume Ni Zero Ni Zero or Morning Musume Two Zero,

Spoiler: show
Plot twist It’s Morning Musume Niju

Two Oh or Two Zero most likely

Two Oh or Two Zero most likely

It would have to be, in order to find the music they released that year. I literally have the kanji “モーニング娘” saved in my phone and then add in a °17 °18 °19 etc to find their music if they did do Ni Zero Ni Zero. Wouldn’t it be
“モーニング娘二ゼロ二ゼロ”
And therefore make it more difficult to find future songs released in 2020?

Today, Maa-chan was a guest on Youngtown radio show and she briefly discussed about University. She really wanted to surprise everyone at her birthday event that she became a University student, but that didn't turn out as planned when photos leaked. Also at her birthday event, she was planning to share a song she made about being a University student.
