In that case, do you think they had Airi specifically record a new version of the song (since it didn't seem exactly like the PV version).

The one this that gives me pause against it being completely lipsynced is at 1:08 and during the same part of chorus near the end Airi seems to have purposefully have missed the word "Kono" in "Kono omoiyo todoke".

However, if any current or former H!P member was expected to convincingly pull off a lipsynced performance as "live," it would be Airi so...


Also, back to my comment about the outfit- obviously it looks great(duh me), it screams "Amuro Namie" with the thigh high boots, short shorts, and long coat

Her neck muscles look responsive when she's belting (when you can see them), so I think she's singing. It sounded like heavy chorus backing track + some kind of mic effect to me - but I also only watched it once.

Either way, that costume was pretty great.

I totally heard it as she was singing, you could hear the difference when she wasn’t, so.
Having that said the backing track was far too loud so I hope that doesn’t become a thing in general but that it was just that one time.
