I'm not going to post any more episodes here, since it would be needlessly spammy. Either subscribe to the YouTube channel if you just want Junjun's appearances, or use the links that I posted earlier to watch the full episodes at the network's own website.

Beware, things get serious in this episode — it is a drama, after all, and not a comedy — so you'll know pretty quick whether you want to continue with the series.

Speaking of the YouTube channel, I looked back for myself and saw that Junjun has been featured in a couple of drama series per year for the last few years. She's usually in a supporting role — the younger sister, the other girlfriend, the mysterious woman — but she still gets plenty of screen time. In other words, she's doing great for herself as a serious actress now.

I said I wouldn't post any more of this series, but I gotta make an exception for Drunk Junjun…

today at 6:30pm on Fuji TV, Mechaike will return to the classroom for another Mechaike surprise test Fall special. They will surprise 12 female talent including Yaguchi Mari to a variety of school subject and find out who the number 1 baka is.

^Happened to randomly catch this. Mari got 8th. Which is in the bottom half, but the better of lol. The theme was 'Akarui Baka' or bright and happy idiots.

Also interesting, in her 'bio' they catergorized her as being from Upfront rather than any relation to MM

Edit: Totally forgot Mechaike has Taiki Bansei as its ending theme right now. Watching the number one baka get crowned as it played was highly amusing for me.

The first episode of ManoEri's latest series, Tonari no Seki-kun to Rumi-chan no Jishō…



Each episode is split into two halves, one half each for the titular Seki-kun and Rumi-chan, respectively. ManoEri plays Kumiko, who sits in class next to (hence tonari no) Rumi-chan.

Apparently this is a live-action adaptation of the earlier manga and anime, Tonari no Seki-kun, except that the Rumi-chan from the original has been spun off (I think) into a new character with her own stories, and ManoEri's character is part of that.

Subsequent episodes are available at different sites in different qualities. If you're interested, just search for 「となりの関くんとるみちゃんの事象」.

Mechaike Surprise Test Fall SP 10/3/15 "#1 Akarui Baka" - Yaguchi Mari




Mechaike labeled Yaguchi Mari and AKB Minegishi as involved in a "Love Scandal"

after they took the test, Okamura says their agencies won't tolerate Mechaike to say the names of the men they were in a relationship with (Okamura pointed out to Yaguchi and her agency)

some of these female talent were troublemakers in the past and were in a scandal. Okamura wants them to smile and give them positive vibes.

Though Okamura did mention that relationship later in the show, when he was wondering who would do best: AKB48 (Minegishi), Morning Musume。(Yaguchi), or Checkicco (Kumakiri).

Wow, Checkicco… Now there's a blast from the past!
