^ Their version reminded me of Folder5 (not a bad thing). I like a couple of the voices in Prizmmy's more, but they're both pretty good. Was there a particular reason both groups did the same song?

Also surprised at the lack of (awkward, at least in the Prizmmy version) rap parts? I thought the male member was there strictly for rap-ish stuff in songs. I can't remember ever hearing him sing in a video at least (I don't watch a lot of them though, that might be my problem).

Out of those two, I definitely prefer the Dream5 one. It sounds more authentically "TK" style. Would buy it off iTunes if it were available.

As for why both groups are releasing the same song, just guessing, but last week being the 20th anniversary of its initial release maybe had something to do with it?

Ah, is it an older song being covered by both? I really have no idea, I don't follow either group. I used to look out for Prizmmy videos, but now I only catch them every once in a while when I wander over to the Avex YouTube channel to try out random songs.

Speaking of trying random songs:

EZ DO DANCE is a cover of TRF's song by the same name released in 1993. Dream5's version was made like last year so I don't think it's part of the 20th anniversary thing.

Akira (the boy in Dream5) is a performer. Like he does the fancy dance moves and stuff. No rapping, just chorus repeats. I am hoping one day that Dream5 will turn into a young version of AAA where all the members sing. AAA started out the same way and also Dream5 once was their opening act for a concert tour.

More Dream5 songs.

Come On has been one of my favorite songs this year. I think it came out last year though, I can't remember. I think everyone around these parts liked them when Koi no Dial 6700 came out.

Mau from Through Skills started following me on twitter. Since I hardly tweet anything, and I wasn't following her, I guess this means that they're going for an all-out (very low-budget XD ) social-media publicity push, and she just added eveyone she knew.

Judging from their photos and rehearsal clips, I'd say that they're going for the anti-idol image... XD

Mui from Throughskills is the sweetest idol ever.

I asked her "how did you remember me!?" (she only saw me during Ebisu Msucats concert in Singapore on January)
She answered "because you are the cutest girl out of them all!"

I melted on the spot
