I remember early on (sometime during stacys? when she still has shoulder-length hair) that her friends/people around her suggested it to her.
Yeah she seems to taken quite a liking to it now and it does highlight the shonen character that allowed her to stand out more but idk... just still can't buy into it I guess

On the other hand though, this shonen character gives a nice contrast to her own tidy, girlish side and I'm really enjoying those moments when they teased her about it more so I'm not really complaining here

The last I heard was Kuduu saying that she won't have the shonen character for much longer, implying that we should enjoy it while it last. If I'm not mistaken I read that from her blog a couple months ago. And that was a couple of weeks after Ishida made a wish on pocket morning for Kuduu to become more like a girl. Ishida is getting her wish
