CL never was a good rapper, and that song just pretty much proves that. "Where all my bad girls at?" Well, they aren't in that video, especially with that sausage fest at 2:21. Idk why they added GD/YB anyway, they just make it even worse.

On the other end of the spectrum, there are people comparing her to Tasha, which is just... no.

Oh wow, no. Even when I liked them I couldn't have said she was that good of a rapper.

The previous (unless I missed some, which is possible) solo efforts were better for me. They still weren't amazing or anything, but they were a lot easier to listen to. I listened to "Please Don't Go" and "Kiss" for a while at least.

Has there ever been a Korean Mr Taxi? I really liked that song except I thought it'd be so much better in Korean...

How did SNSD do in Japan anyway? You know, sales wise.
They keep releasing songs in Japanese but to me all of them sounds.. awkward. I never really consider them as one of the better k-pop groups to make the switch into the japanese market but that's prolly just me

None of their Japanese songs sound good to me, although I've only listened to the ones that were originally their Korean singles.

edit: I don't really follow K-Pop groups, but one group that I thought had decent songs in Japanese was Tenjo Chiki (天上智喜Cheon Sang Ji Hee The Grace).

Apparently I like wasting my time on things I don't like anymore, so I skimmed the physical numbers really quickly.

Seems they had a pretty strong start, but there's been a huge drop recently? Didn't bother looking too much at digital stuff, but they probably did well there (at least for a while?) too. Only checked Generasia, and only singles - no more time will go into this.

It seems to have gone something like:
Genie: 151,042 (Over 30 weeks)
Gee: 206,346 (Over 31 weeks, out for four weeks)
Mr. Taxi/Run Devil Run: 174,365 (Over 16 weeks, out for one week)
PAPPARAZZI: 136,181 (Over 17 weeks)
Oh!: 84,814 (Over 8 weeks)
FLOWER POWER: 39,007 (Over 7 weeks)

Album sales were also rather high:

GIRLS' GENERATION: 864,275 (642,054 in 2011 and #5 album of the year)
GIRLS' GENERATION II ~Girls&Peace~: 141,259 (This was released a week after FLOWER POWER, which sold 39k)
