Today at Tsubaki Factory's concert tour performance in Aichi, Tsubaki announced their new single (Triple A-side) will be released on August 28th! They will perform their new song "Baby Spider" (ベイビースパイダー) for the first time at their Budokan concert (Leader Niinuma Kisora's Graduation) on June 10th. It will be the first single for the new members. Even though she is graduating in June, Niinuma Kisora said she is also participating in this single, so it will be the first and last performance by all 12 members.

Better late than never.

"Baby Spider" is one heck of a title, no idea what to expect.

I knew it. I remember thinking this when several members blogged about all the members getting together for filming but not being able to reveal what for.

concert fan reports : After Tsubaki announced the title was "Baby Spider", all the members pretended to be Spider-Man and posed like they were imitating shooting a spider's web, and they said it was cute.

That was my first reaction too.

I have an idea of what sound I'd expect from a smaller/indie group, be interesting to see if it ends up matching.

Of course most people already have terabyte drives. Petabyte drives are being developed now, using crystals and lasers. Exabyte drives are a maybe a couple decades away, but they can be emulated now by networked storage (i.e., data centers).

(my first computer with an internal hard drive was a Macintosh IIsi with 40 MB. i won it in a raffle for attending my freshman dorm's computer center orientation. everything before that, for me at least, was cassettes and floppies; the Mac replaced an old Commodore 64 that my father let me take when i moved out.)
