Edit: I thought the song was familiar! I have the MV on a pirate Taiwan Cpop DVD that I bought years ago - it's by Angela Zhang, and I used to listen to it all the time.

Hmmm I can believe that for Lisa. Verbal and Taku still largely look the same, though.

Anyway, that track got me to check out chelmico some more. Solid duo; I've been pronouncing the name wrong this whole time!
They certainly fill the HALCALI and Charisma.com shaped holes in my heart, lol. I'm miffed that their major stuff isn't on iTunes, though.

Other things I'm enjoying right now:

Weeekly's debut. And yes, that is Weeekly with three E's. And yet only one member has a day of the week as her stage name!
The song is super fun, the concept seems to be age appropriate, and there's some really cool choreo involving school desks.

The fake monster face is so ridiculous, though. I'll bet that's why the MV was delayed 3 times.

Aaand 3YE's latest comeback. Outfits are excellent, choreo is definitely something we don't see enough of from girl groups, and the song gets me totally pumped up.

^ Seconded. Like.... I've always had a major crush on Seulgi but the release of Monster definitely made it 10x more intense. Red Velvet seem to get better the more the years go by. Like fine wine some would say, but really. Damn.

I've had this new song by Sunmi on loop a lot lately. I could swear all her releases are just slightly different variations of one another yet here I am, pressing play again

For those into boy groups (or not), ONF has great music. They're not a group I heavily follow but I follow them anyways since I find their music to be addicting as hell. They recently participated in the male version of MNET's hit 2019 show Queendom, Road to Kingdom and won second place. This song "New World" was created specifically for their finale performance

I'm starting to get seriously hooked on mainland Cpop

I followed CHUANG2020 until all my favorite trainees were eliminated one by one, and then there were none left (Though I quite like Curley and Nene). I find the name of the group they chose kinda dumb too. What is it... BonBon Girls 303? But damn the performances were so good!! My favorites were probably "Whatever 随便！" and "The World Won't Collapse Easily".

Today was Ongaku no Hi Music Day special, MISIA was invited for the first time and performed two songs "Aitakute Ima" (the song Oda Sakura and Takagi Sayuki sang) with a mask on and "Sayonara mo iwanai mama de" .



DA PUMP on Ongaku no Hi performed "USA" in front of fans watching remotely on video call. They wore their USA outfits from one year ago
